OQIM Group has brought the OVOZA project on board through a strategic deal worth $200,000. OVOZA was building the short-form video space in Uzbekistan and using artificial intelligence to automatically turn long-form content into short formats. Its 500 active clippers join the OQIM platform along with the project.
OVOZA was also working in a second direction: driving online sales through content creators. In that system a creator recommends a product or service through a dedicated link and earns from the sales made through it.
A key part of the deal is the team and its experience. OVOZA founder Muhammad Najmiddinov joins the OQIM team to lead growth and AI-based automation.
The idea that brings OQIM and OVOZA together is a refusal to stay limited to the local market. The team will continue the work OVOZA started on automating content workflows with AI. One of the next steps is automating parts of UGC content creation itself.
With this deal OQIM aims to take the experience and technology built in the local market and develop it on a global level.
